Anime Relations: Boku dake ga Inai Machi
3/25/19
I think way too often about taking my own life. Swallowing all my pills or jumping out infront of a car or tying a belt or something around my neck. Whenever I get in that state, I always think to myself how I don’t want to leave without leaving something behind. So then I start to think ‘Easy! I’ll start journaling and when I finally fill up whatever I’m writing in, I can off myself.’ Then I think about how much work that would be. I would fail it.

She And Her Cat (May 12, 2018)
Anime Relations: Kanojo to Kanojo no Neko: Everything Flows
I forgot to make this entry yesterday. Oof...
This was a super cute anime. Only 4 episodes, each 7 minutes long.
It was recommended to me by Lucas8x, and I found the reccomendation to be very thoughtful. Still need to check out the other thing he recommended.
Anyways, I found it super cute. It’s from the cat’s perspective.
A college student living with her cat going through a really rough time. The cat doesn’t know why she’s upset but he feels it too when she’s upset.
It’s tagged as romance but it’s not romance in the way that you’d think. It’s not icky, they love eachother but not really in a relationship kind of way. More in a destined to be together kind of way? Ack i don’t know Watch it for yourself, it’s super short.
Anyways this is one of the only things I’ve watched that made me cry. It’s very powerful and there’s a lot of development even given how short it is.
It’s super sweet and I liked it a lot.
Not the best review sorry... we’ll I’m going now. So I’ll see you sometime? I’d say in two or so months but that might be changing. That’s typically my pattern when watching anime though.

Citrus (May 12, 2018)

First and formost, anyone else noticing a pattern with me posting? Ha...
Now for my review.

Is what I’d say if you asked what this show was lacking.

There is such little consent for a very long time. That bothers me. Don’t kiss someone and start feeling them up if they aren’t consenting. And it doesn’t just happen once, it happens multiple times. “But aren’t spontaneous kisses fun?” Yeah, but only when there is a clear line drawn imo. Mai kissed MC (I’m bad with names) when she said she had never been kissed before. Which she was saying because she say Mai and a teacher making out, and she wanted to talk to Mai since they were sisters and all other attempts had been shit down.
Then she licked her when they were in the bath. Like wtf I’d be hella uncomfortable get away from me.
Mai (Mei?) treats her like crap too. They’re not going to get up okay in the end. They’re split.
Omg and her best friend makes out with MC too!
And then Mai kisses BF to shut her up! Like omg girls calm down.
^^not how real life works in my experience!
But anyways it was a decent anime. I liked pigtail girl. She has celestia hair from Dangan Ronpa. Maybe that was her before she went to Hopes Peak Academy!
Look similar. (Not an actual theory but I’ll help you build it up if you’d like to take over my theory ;) )

School Live! (May 12, 2018)
Anime Relations: Gakkougurashi!
I have the first volume of the manga and I wanted to hold off watching the anime until I got all the volumes and finished it. That didn’t happen. I am apart of this discord group (and am a Mod ha!) and we watch anime together, we chose Gakkugarashi for the first episode.
Spoilers:
It’s cute. Super cute. And it has that psychological element that I like. I wasn’t the biggest fan of the ending though, it turned super dark very quickly which is funny because I typically love those endings but this time I didn’t. 12 is happy but 10 and 11 man... dark stuff.
The ending where Mii-kun sees Kai! Ack the feels! And what was up with the ending where someone picks up one of the letters they sent out on the balloons?
I love the intro and how it slowly gets darker! That was really unique and creative!
That’s all for right now, I’m super tired (just woke up) and only dod this because I would have forgotten if I did it later. Anyways hope you enjoyed!

Corpse Party (February 18, 2018)
Anime Relations: Corpse Party: Tortured Souls - Bougyakusareta Tamashii no Jukyou
Binged this one. I stared watching it but dropped it after an episode because I got bored and wanted to watch something else. Good that I finally finished it!

So altogether I liked this anime. Poor Seiko! I kinda shipped Seiko and Naomi. I think I just can’t watch something without shipping characters. So that’s problematic.
Ha nobody even reads these... I’d be better of just posting these in the review section! Oh well.
I didn’t get the ending right away until I read comments on YouTube (yes I watched in on YouTube). I didn’t quite understand why the guy didn’t appear with the girls. It’s beceuase he used some random dudes piece right? So it brought him to another school? But then why did his arms show up at the right school?
The blonde guy’s death hurt me the most tbh. So sad! Ugh he escapes, comes back to save his friends, and dies. Dies in a brutal way too...
Some people hate how fast paced it was because of the game (and the fact that it’s four episodes) but I actually liked the pace. Yes they gazed over certain parts but if it was longer, I wouldn’t like it as much for the same reason why I don’t like Resident Evil after a while or the Walking Dead. You start to lose the scare factor in it when you get used to it. Corpse Party perfectly ballenced that out in my opinion. Also, what else could they have added to the show without making it too... blah? Without spending too much time on stuff? Like the crazy glasses guy, his arch was pretty fast, I’ll admit, but how could they have made it any better?
As a young girl when I first started watching this show (before dropping it) I tried to make it a point to memorize the opening. It’s a good easy opening and it’s catchy, I like it a lot.
Anyways that’s it for my review!
I started my own bingo game btw! I have the year to complete 48 anime (supposed to be 49 but I printed it off before realizing I left one off). There are 10 she’s made online so if anyone wants to join, tell me and I’ll send you a card (some how...).

Akuma No Riddle (February 17, 2018)
Anime Relations: Danganronpa: Kibou no Gakuen to Zetsubou no Koukousei The Animation, Akuma no Riddle, Mahou Shoujo Ikusei Keikaku
Oh man it’s been a while since I’ve fully watched an anime! Yikes!
Anyways, I liked the concept of this one. I really like the whole battle royal thing.

I didn’t really feel like we got to know all the characters fully. Like, in the end when that one chick showed up for the final battle, I couldn’t remember who she was! I didn’t binge the show so that might be part of it but it shouldn’t. However it’s battle royal so that’s understandable.
None of the characters really struck a chord with me. They all seemed pretty blah aside from Haru.
My favorite episode was the one with the puzzles and the bomb!!! That episode was pretty cool! Thought of rewatching it when I finished it!
Tbh I don’t reallt know if I understood the ending? Why didn’t blue haired girl graduate?
I liked the opening a lot! It’s fun!
I love how the characters looked! It was pretty, and once again my favorite episode was the bomb one, and I thought the art in that was cool and I loved the lighting!
I haven’t seen too many fully but I’ve seen enough to be able to reccoment stuff. So I recommend this show if you like battle royal. It can be a little complicated at times but it’s pretty cool, and it’s an interesting concept.
If you’ve seen this and want to watch something like it, you can’t go wrong with Magic Girl Raising Project. It’s rather different but both have that battle royal feel and protecting your friends.
Want something a little closer to the show than that recommendation? Try Dangan Ronpa! Battle royal, school theme, mystery (this one is way more obvious) and I find both to be rather pretty!
